Abstract

This study aimed to identify the availability of the dimensions of organizational health in basic education schools in the perceptive of online teaching in Al Batinah North Governorate in Sultanate of Oman from the teachers’ point of view. The descriptive method was adopted in this study.  A random sample consisted of 530 teachers from basic education schools in sultanate of Oman in 2020/2021 was selected. And the researcher used a survey that included four dimensions, which are school cohesion dimension, initiative dimension, support resource dimension, and morality dimension. The result of the study showed that the level of availability of the dimensions of organizational health in primary schools in Al Batinah North Governorate in the perspective of studying online from teachers’ point of view is average. The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the estimates of the sample members in the initiative work, and morality dimensions due to the gender variable in favor of males, and there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the estimates of the sample members in all dimensions of organizational health due to the variable years of experience in favor of the group 11 years and above. According to the results, the study recommended to develop the school principals’ awarness of the importance of having the dimensions of organizational health in their schools, and encourage them to activate and enable them within their weekly and semester plans, and to implement professional development programs on the use and activation of modern technologies within online studying
